How does Jet Plasma Work?

Jet Plasma pen is a handheld plasma device that uses a cooler atmospheric temperature and does not create surface trauma like traditional fibroblast plasma. This extremely powerful device penetrates 13,000 volts of plasma through the epidermis into the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin stimulating high levels of collagen and remodeling the cellular structure from the inside out.

When Jet plasma is mixed with oxide oxygen, ozone is created which kills surface bacteria and is anti-inflammatory to aid in calming keratosis, eczema, and rosacea. Jet Plasma is used to tighten the skin, diminish wrinkles, diminish hyper-pigmentation, treat acne, scarring, stretch marks and aids in product absorption that otherwise couldn't penetrate as deep without needle injection.

Jet Plasma is also a remarkable, highly effective holistic alternative to traditional laser methods and standard cosmetic surgery. The Plasma Jet Pen is a sister invention stemmed from the Fibroblast Plasma Pen, Invented in Italy in 1994, by Plastic Surgeon Dr. Fippi. The Fibroblast Plasma procedure has been safely performed for many years in Europe and North America. The Jet Plasma and Fibroblast plasma procedure is sweeping across the United States.

The Jet Plasma Pen and Fibroblast Plasma Pen are compact handheld devices for nonsurgical skin rejuvenation and are both FDA Class II cleared for soft tissue coagulation. They are also CE approved.

  • It’s often referred to as “soft surgery,” as results are long-lasting and often comparable to traditional cosmetic surgery. Unlike the effects of Botox, and other fillers which last for mere months, the effects of Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatment will last for up to 3 years. With Jet Plasma, you can successfully reduce extra skin while dramatically lifting and tightening almost any area on the face and body. There’s no cutting, stitching, bruising, traditional anesthesia, bleeding, thinned out skin, or an overly pulled or distorted look to the face with this method. The results are immediate. Collagen will continue to rejuvenate for up to 2 months from the time of the procedure. You will see an overall improvement in the condition of the treated area. Not only is this a safer choice for skin rejuvenation, but it’s also much more affordable than many alternatives. For longer-lasting results, Jet Plasma and Fibroblast Plasma is the way to go!

  • Jet Plasma Pen skin tightening results are impressive but should not be proposed as an alternative to surgery in cases of moderate to severe skin laxity. Only surgery can achieve these kinds of results.

You will typically see immediate tightening improvements along with cumulative improvements after 3 to 4 weeks, when the skin enters the third phase of the healing (collagen and connective tissue growth). You will continue to see results over the next two to three months in the appearance of saggy skin and laxity. In some cases it may require more than one session depending on the desired results. The number of procedures needed per person will vary according to the area being treated, skin laxity, and the individual’s age and response to the treatment. However, most are satisfied with a total of one to three procedures per site.

  • It depends on the state of the clients’ skin and the desired degree of correction. The client is often satisfied after only one treatment, for example, if the wrinkles are not very deep.

Due to the simplicity of the procedure and the affordable price, many clients opt for two or more treatments to achieve a desired result. The procedure may be repeated with in 48 hours after the procedure.

Generally, 3 to 8 sessions are recommended to achieve optimal results.

  • The results of the Jet Plasma Pen treatment are permanent and may be visible for years. However, we are clear to acknowledge that the aging process is continuous and the skin ages every day after the procedure. This cannot be stopped. The results of this method are permanent. When speaking about common facial lines known as worry lines, these may recur quickly because muscles are stronger than the skin and consequently, the lines recur. Average results last from 2 to 4 years.

  • The Jet Plasma Pen does not create pain, therefore no numbing is required unlike Fibroblast Plasma; where numbing cream is used with every procedure and helpful in reducing the discomfort during treatment.

  • The Jet Plasma Pen is a relatively safe treatment, particularly when compared to more invasive cosmetic procedures. However, no procedure is without risks and it’s important to review and understand the risks.

  • PRE-CARE

It is always important to take care of our bodies and keep ourselves in the best of health. However when pre-pairing for any medical procedure we should take extra care. That goes for all Pre Plasma Pen treatments. Fibroblast treatment is not suitable for everyone. There are risks associated with the treatment and it is of the utmost importance to know if you are a good candidate for this advanced procedure. If you’re considering Fibroblast, you should be in good health at the time of the appointment, with no pre-existing health conditions. Ideal candidates for this cosmetic procedure are those with lax, crepe-like skin around the eyes, neck, tummy, mouth, or other targeted areas for the treatment. Once you are cleared for your treatment and procedure it is important to apply the following, one week prior to your treatment. No drinking alcohol, no smoking, no chemical peels ,other skin or medical procedures. Drink plenty of water and get adequate rest.

    POST-CARE

There is no downtime. “Downtime” is very subjective. What you think “looks bad” and/or is “uncomfortable” can be very different from someone else’s perception. If you are comparing it to cosmetic surgery, then no, the downtime is minimal. If you are comparing it to say a light chemical peel where no one can tell you did anything and you are just a bit flaky everywhere, then no.

You can expect to see and feel the following.....

    • Redness, swelling and scabbing (series of tiny *brown spots known as Carbon Dots) in the treatment area

    • Average of 8 days downtime on the face and neck areas

    • Average of 10 to 14 days on the body, depending on the area being treated and the intensity of the treatment

    • Swelling usually begins the day following your treatment, and peaks around day 3

    • After day 3, swelling subsides and Scabs (Carbon Dots) form.

    • Scabs (Carbon Dots) normally begin to fall off around day 6 and 7 (for face and neck)

Please be aware that the days indicated are simply guidelines for average healing time. Healing time and results may be negatively compromised by not following the after care protocol: no drinking alcohol, no smoking and no picking/scrubbing. If your health is compromised in any way, this can also extend your healing time and negatively affect your results.

*The superficial Plasma Pen point targets the skin in its immediate vicinity which reduces the excess skin while tightening the desired treated area. A series of tiny brown spots (Carbon dots which generally appear after day three) are the result of strategically placed plasma to attain the desired result and elimination of excess skin. The skin around the carbon dot tightens instantly, pulling the cells closer together.
